There is one thing that’s bothering me. I live in a neighborhood that has lots of those streets that have no traffic lights..you know the kind..those cross streets where cars are supposed to come to a full stop to allow people to cross even though there’s no light.
Well I’ve been looking out my window for the last ten minutes and not ONE car has come to a full stop! They are all doing those ‘rolling stop’ things. Now this is a family neighborhood, lots of kids and lots of little kids. I don’t think drivers should be taking a chance with some of the youngsters crossing these streets. A lot of kids could do better too..I’ve seen them on skateboards catching a ride by grabbing hold of the back bumpers of trucks as they slow down. Dangerous as hell. I wonder if their mums know they do that?
