Coming into the game the biggest underdogs in history I think our Eagles played very well. Sure, Feeley made a mistake which cost the game, but nobody even gave us a chance to beat the Pats. Well done Eagles. You made the Pats look like they CAN be beaten. Of course if McNabb had been playing the score would have been Pats 150 Eagles 10. LOL

So, now I’m pissed off. The House Judiciary Committee rejected Gov. Ed Rendell’s personal appeal Tuesday for action on gun control measures. What city are THEY living in? Needless to say I’m going to remember who voted for what when election time rolls around again. We don’t need some of these spineless do nothings who are in the pocket of the gun lobby. More police is not always the answer. Of course more police are always welcome but even they are being shot at now by criminals who find it all too easy to get guns. We need to get some of these firearms off the streets and we need some politicians who have some spine to make some laws that are going to do that. I say if you committ a crime and you are in possession of a gun you get locked up and the key gets thrown away. If you kill anyone with a gun…ANYONE, NOT JUST A POLICE OFFICER….your life is over and you quickly follow your victim into the hereafter. None of this years and years of appeals. You want to play with guns, you take the consequences.
Ok..watched the Eagles/Dolphins game yesterday. Please tell me WHY are we holding on to Donovan McNabb ? People keep saying its not JUST McNabb thats keeping the team in the low scorers but I beg to differ. When A.J. Feeley took over the second half yesterday after McNabb left with a sprained ankle the team rallied behind him and we started playing like we should have been playing in the first half. McNabb had THREE turnovers…two of which were totally McNabbs fault. There’s nothing magical about Donovan McNabb. He’s had his day. Its time to bring in another starter.
The cold weather is upon us! I don’t mind cold weather…its kinda nice really. What I hate is those weather forecasters on TV. Don’t they just LOVE it when they have some rotten weather to report. They’ll be out in hurricanes and rain storms and gale force winds gleefully reporting to the rest of us sane people why we should stay inside. I swear they are all nuts.
I saw that Richard Gere was given some kind of award at the Kimmel Center. Apparently he lived in Philadelphia but only for a month. Oh well, I suppose that makes him a Philadelphia of sorts. Well done Richard. Come back often.
