Way to Go Brian Westbrook!!!

What a selfless act by Brian Westbrook in Sundays game against the Cowboys. A fantastic run where he could have crossed the goal line with ease and racked up yet another touchdown for his stats. What does he do? He puts the team first and instead of crossing the goal line he slides to a stop 1 yard and first down Eagles! Thats a class act. You cross the goal line and give possession back to the cowboys for a matter of seconds…and who knows what they might have done with that…or you put your team first and do what needs to be done to stop Dallas gaining possession. Brian Westbrook is a GREAT player and probably the Eagles biggest asset. Way to go Brian. We love ya!

I think they should have given Feeley another chance this coming Sunday but it appears that McNabb is fit and wants to play. Lets hope he doesn’t screw us into the ground yet again.

First snow of the season.

I don’t know how much snow you got in your area of PA but here in the Northeast we got something like one and a half inches. Not enough to have to go out and shovel..thank you Lord…but enough to be a nuisance for drivers and Mums taking their kids to school in the morning. As I sit here typing I can see snow melting on rooftops. Great drops of water falling by my window so I assume its melting pretty well off my roof as well. This would have been nice on Christmas morning. I haven’t seen a White Christmas for a long time…have you? At least I don’t remember on in recent years.

Which brings me to the decorations up on Frankford Avenue. These are the same cheesy decorations I complained about last year :( Can’t we at least have a couple of selections so they can be put up on alternate years? Sigh. At least some of the folks in the neighborhood have gotten into the spirit of things and have decorated their windows and lawns splendidly. Keep up the good work denizens of the Northeast.
